Gonzague was more than charming, he was filled with information of the region and growers and produces and restaurants, we have learned so much today! Champagne was extraordinary & the Chateau was beyond anything I could have wished for. A most spectacular spot & the meals were to die for. My Birthday was a very special day & Gonzague was extremely knowledgable & provided an excellent tour that suited us perfectly. My husband is a huge wine buff but has always turned up his nose at champagne. After this tour he is extremely enthusiastic about it & some of the small producers we met gave us such a personal & inciteful tour that we feel we are almost experts! One of the producers even gave me a free bottle of his best bubbles on my Birthday! I couldn't have wished for.
